Consultant Services:
Work with drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities to
- Advise on policies, procedures and documentation needed to meet State Department of Health and USDA guidelines
- Train food service supervisors and other staff in areas such as nutrition, menu planning, portion control, and food safety
- Create and/or review menus
- Provide individual nutrition counseling to clients on physician-prescribed diets and/or those with special nutritional needs
- Teach classes on healthy eating to clients in recovery
- Other duties as requested
May provide similar services to preschools and care homes upon request.
